Photos Wanted

Do you have old photos of sheep events or shepherds? Perhaps you have some vintage photos of Shropshires when they were much shorter and much woollier than they are today. Photos are needed for use in the Voice for the “Guess Who” and other photo opportunities. Contact Rinda Maddox here to share your photo.

   Note: Anyone who did not receive a copy of the Shropshire Voice, and has not done active work in the past two years through the association office, but are still active with Shropshires and are life members and want to continue receiving the Voice, let Secretary Becky Peterson know and you will be marked "active" on the mailing list again.

    The Shropshire Voice is the official publication of the American Shropshire Registry Association. With issues in February, May and October, this periodical gives breeders a direct channel to the happenings with the breed. All active Shropshire breeders receive a subscription to this publication with their paid annual service fee to the association. The Shropshire Voice is also used for promotion of the breed, being distributed at Shropshire events and mailed to new owners and other interested parties.

    Any news articles or announcements regarding Shropshire breeders is welcome to be submitted to the Voice. Please send any information you would like to see included here. Those interested in advertising in the Voice can also contact the same address.

     The Voice is published by Rinda and Steve Maddox. Rinda designs the advertising as well as produces the magazine. Steve Maddox is the advertising sales representative for the Voice and this website. They can be reached at 217/288-9365 (office) or 217/288-9493 (home).
